This report is based on our data from 2020 and has been inspired by the Global Reporting Index (GRI) sustainability reporting framework.

The reporting index table below makes it easy for readers to find the relevant GRI information in this report.

Where possible, we have used 2018 as a base year to make data comparisons and track our progress. However, we have sometimes used 2019 as a base year, and our 2020 data will be our base year for tracking the future development of metrics where we do not have historical data for.

We have one supply chain department serving all entities within the region.

We have approximately 70 suppliers connected to our direct products.

Out of these we have identified 30 suppliers as key suppliers.

To be considered a key supplier they have three criteria to meet:

  1. Supplier of key components
  2. We are in regular contact with the supplier (weekly or daily)
  3. The supplier delivers bottle neck product

They supply us with mainly mechanical and automation related products.

Geographically our suppliers are mainly based in Sweden although we have some suppliers in the Baltics, Poland and Norway.

Our main supplier of pipes is based in Germany. We have one supply chain department serving all entities within the region.

In 2020, we decided to bring together our daughter company Envac Optibag to be combined with Envac Scandinavia.

At the end of 2020, this work was not yet completed but the plan was to finish the transformation at the beginning of 2021.

In our supply chain, we continuously work on risk mitigation of product sourcing. Therefore in 2020 we added one supplier from the Baltics to the list of suppliers,

We strive to do business with a precautionary approach:

  1.  Envac has a global process for product development where risks and opportunities are evaluated before a decision is made to proceed.

  2. In our Global Code of conduct it is stated that:
Envac is: ”Promoting a sustainable approach to business, both in the way in which we operate and the technologies we provide.”We strive to do business with a precautionary approach”

We have a large of diesel consumption from vaccum waste collection trucks in the Swedish Company(Approx 65% of total energy use within Sweduiish operation). They are running on HVO that is a biodiesel with a positive effect on CO2 emissions from alifecycle perspective. In emission calculation this has not been taken into consideration.

This topic is partly omitted (read more under omissions), but please read about our approach to handle substances of material via the link

In 2020 Envac Region North Europé operated on total 178 customer installations.

We are able to remotely access 150 of them

For the region:

In 2018 we had one minor third party incident using our system
In 2019 we had a one third party near miss using our system
In 2020 no third party incidents have been reported

All incidents have been handled according to our processes to investigate and find root cause. All is documented in a central incident reporting system.

We are working with a systematic approach toward work environment identifying and mitigating the risks.

We are not certified to a OHS management system, the plan is to complete an ISO45001 certification for the Swedish company in 2021.

Our new employees follow an introduction program, and training to ensure work is performed in a safe way is regularly held. We do not monitor total hours of training at this stage.

To promote health, we have several programs running, for example:
* A set financial contribution for each employee to use for private sporting and exercise activities every year.
* Voluntary health checkup every second year for all employees
* We have contracted a healthcare company to support us when needed
* We offer free vaccines for the seasonal flu

When we use our healthcare company, the confidentiality of each employee is guaranteed via patient confidentiality.

We have between 25-35 key suppliers. They are evaluated within a three year evaluation cycle. This indicates that we shall do approx: 8 evaluations per year. 2018 was the start of this way of doing evaluations.

As we do not assess social sustainability criteria today for our suppliers, we do not currently monitor diversity and inclusion from a supplier point of view.

However, this is part of our development plan described under our Business responsibility topic – Fair & Ethical Business – Future development.
